Salman Khan to sing for Randeep Hooda in ‘Laal Rang’

Superstar Salman Khan who has so far only sung for himself in his films, will now be crooning for his buddy Randeep Hooda in the latter’s film ‘Laal Rang’.

Salman and Randeep had worked together in 2014 film ‘Kick’ and have also collaborated for upcoming film ‘Sultan’. The two actors share a passion for horses and have become close buddies. Recently, the ‘Highway’ actor requested Salman to lend his voice to a song in his film ‘Laal Rang’, to which the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor immediately agreed, a leading publication reported quoting a source.

The song deals with friendship, bonding and brotherhood and will be picturised on Randeep and his co-star Akshaye Oberoi. Composed by Ajay Bhatia, the video of the song will also include a clip of Salman singing it. The song titled ‘Pyar Mein’ will be used as a promotional video only and is not a part of the film, the report stated.

Salman, who is currently busy shooting for ‘Sultan’, is expected to record the song later this week when he gets some free time from shooting schedule.

Salman has previously sung ‘Hangover’ in ‘Kick’, ‘Mein Hoon Hero Tera’ in Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer ‘Hero’, ‘Chandi Ki Daal Par’ in ‘Hello Brother’ and a few others.

‘Laal Rang’ revolves around the blood donation racket in the north Indian state of Haryana and is inspired from true events. The movie also stars Pia Bajpai and Meenakshi Dixit.

Directed by Syed Ahmad Afzal and produced by Nitika Thakur, ‘Laal Rang’ is scheduled to hit screens on April 22.

‘Sultan’, which will see Randeep in the role of a wrestling coach is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release on the occasion of Eid.
